I retired in January of 2018, having lectured for the previous 17 years at Sheffield Hallam University. I Go to my local gym on a daily basis and work myself hard. I'm also a member of a couple of walking groups and a couple of meetup groups. I still find myself at a loose end from time to time, though, and thought that I could make use of a lifelong love of animals (especially cats and dogs) by engaging in dog walking.
