Hello, I am looking for someone to look after my cat while I am away. My cat is very friendly, adjusts well to new people, and is very obedient. He comes when his name is called and is generally very easy to care for. He needs to be fed wet food every morning and again in the evening. Throughout the day, he should always have access to dry food and fresh water. Each morning, after he has eaten, he will need to be let outside so he can go to the toilet. As we do not have a cat flap, we would need you to let him back inside during the day so that he can eat and drink whenever he wants. He may choose to stay indoors and sleep for part of the day, but you are welcome to let him back outside if he wants to go out, but since he will be in during the night it’s best to let him outside just before his dinner. In the evening he must be inside! Also, after he has had his dinner, he should stay indoors overnight and then let out again in the morning once fed. Please let me know if you have any questions. Both dogs are really lovely and friendly. Charlie has cancer – it is a lump on his side, but he still enjoys his food and walks and doesn’t need any medication yet. The vet said it is slow growing. Sonny is nervous around other dogs and people due to being attacked by another dog when he was with the previous pet sitter. He is reactive to other people and dogs on walks, but has been absolutely fine with pet sitters and is very friendly and gentle in the home. It is best to avoid people and dogs generally when you’re walking him. We have Woods all around our house so the ideal dog border would have big open spaces nearby to walk him in. He is not used to walking on pavement as we live in a rural area and there aren’t any pavements, but when cars and bikes go by, he pulls towards them. So he needs a calm, experienced person to look after him who is happy to walk him in space and avoid other people and dogs. Charlie is neutered and isn’t neutered yet.

Stirling is a lovely dog, can be a bit reactive to some dogs (German Shepards and smaller fluffy dogs seem to get barks at). He loves to play (tug/hide n seek) will chase/play with other dogs but we try to keep him from smaller dogs as he’s so big it looks like he’s going to eat them! He loves cuddles, is crate trained, has good recall - will do anything for food/treats. We are working forever on walking to heel, that seems to happen better towards the end of a walk. Will bark/chase cats/squirrels. Good around horses. He was very vocal and clingy last time we went away and he stayed with a friend, he’s never been that way before and I think it was new home environment causing him to have severe separation anxiety… he calmed down as soon as he went to a more known environment, so he will need settling in time/visits or he will howl non stop.

Both indoor cats, both can be quite shy but are very gentle and loving cats. Willow dose have a tummy issue and can be sick from time to time and tends to poo outside her litter try. I still don't understand why she dose that? Normally I'm at home so company is very important for them both.

To look after our dog whilst on holiday

Need hunni looked after at borders house while we are at center Parcs. She’s a shy dog and isn’t good with children or other pets. As all family going that’s why I’m stuck for someone to look after her.

Betty is fine with other small/medium sized dogs & lives with a cat at home. She can be quite excitable at first but soon calms down. She loves lots of fuss and is happy to go on both long and shorter walks! She eats a mix of dry food and meat once a day and I leave dry food in her bowl for her afterwards but she tends not to eat much of it during the day.

Would need someone to just check in on Bourbon and let him out to the toilet at first on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays & Fridays while I’m at work. Once old enough he can go on walks. I can pop in at lunchtimes but would be good for someone to go in about 4pm.
