I have lived a life surrounded by pets. As a young girl I grew up with all the usual pets a child would have, rabbits, Guinea pigs, hamsters. In the family home we had cats that all lived to a good old age before passing on. Now I share my life with a very much loved 11 year old Shih Tzu. He has the run of the house, goes out every day for a walk, has the back garden to sit out in, enjoys a run off lead but just as happy to go for a stroll with his lead on.
