I love animals and have had them all my life, from rats to hamsters to dogs. Currently, my family has Abby the cat, Stanley the basset hound, and Gertie the Yorkie/pomeranian mix. Stanley is a sniffer, loves to dawdle, says hi to everyone who comes by (canine and human) and he's not very good at reading social cues so I keep a shorter leash when there are a lot of people around.
