I have been a pet owner for the past 25 years ranging from tropical fish, gerbils, cats and dogs but sadly, other than a pond full of fish in the garden, my last old cat died a few weeks ago so am now feeling quite bereft and thought this might be a good way of filling the "empty nest" syndrome. We had a Golden Labrador from a puppy until the age of 12 when sadly he passed away. My sister has two Patterdales which I often look after for her so am quite used to walking and "poo" bagging!
