Piper, my favourite client for a year and a half! He was a spritely old boy whose energy didn't match his 15 years. Loved belly scratches, hated not getting belly scratches.

Milo, a tabby cat I boarded for a few weeks while his owners were on holiday. He was a purring machine and would only drink water from the shower when it was turned on.

Girlie! This is the best photo I have of her because she was always clinging to me like nobody's business. Her parents said she was a dog, but I think she was secretly a wombat. Sweetest girl I've ever looked after.

Rico! A kitten I cared for a few times a week while his owners were in London. He was very good at naps.

A small flock of chickens I used to look after during the week. The white one in the front was a house-chicken named Bum-Bum (I'm not joking). Weirdest but best job.

Pond, the nosiest creature I've ever had the pleasure of spending time with.
