Dog Walking needed near Caversham RG4
I’m looking for a kind, confident and experienced dog walker for my lovely girl Layla for an early afternoon walk Monday–Thursday each week. Layla is a young Desert Canaan and she’s a really loving, funny and affectionate dog. . Like many desert Canaans, she can also be quite independent and naturally wary of unfamiliar dogs and situations. She can be reactive towards other dogs on walks, so I’m specifically looking for solo walks rather than group walks. She needs someone calm and confident who is comfortable reading her body language and giving her space when needed rather than putting her into situations she finds stressful. She’s a great companion and I’d really like to find someone she can build a relationship with and look forward to seeing each day. Walks can either be around the local area or she can be collected and taken somewhere quieter such as a park or countryside walk. Experience with reactive dogs, primitive breeds or similar independent breeds would be ideal. I’d be very happy to meet beforehand and do a walk together so you can get to know Layla properly.

The ideal candidate will have a genuine love for dogs, as well as the physical ability to walk for extended periods of time.
As a dog walker with Tailster, you will be responsible for taking dogs on regular walks, ensuring their safety at all times, and following any specific instructions provided by the owner. You will also be required to communicate with the owners about the well-being of their pets during the walk.
You will have the freedom to pick and choose the clients you work with, and you can decide whether you want to work full time or part time – whatever suits you best. There’s a constant stream of new dog walking jobs available in RG4 every day.
Tailster will assist in everything, including providing insurance cover for all of our dog walkers and handling payments.
You’ll also be able to manage your diary and take on new clients as and when they require help in your area.
